Certain scans require specific preparation to ensure the best possible results. For example:
- Abdominal ultrasounds may require a 6-hour fast.
- Renal ultrasounds typically require a full bladder.
When you book your appointment, our team will review your referral and provide detailed instructions to help you prepare. We’re here to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible!
To ensure a seamless experience, please bring the following items to your appointment:
- Your Ultrasound Referral Form from your doctor.
- Your Medicare Card (and any applicable concession cards).
- Any additional information or documents related to your scan.
While we strive to bulk bill where possible, some scans may incur a gap fee not covered by Medicare. Our team will inform you of any costs beforehand, so there are no surprises. We accept payment via EFTPOS, credit card, or direct bank transfer.
