Info for Patients
At Imaging Plus, we aim to provide you with the best experience possible when attending your scan. To help us do this, the following information will help both yourself and us to ensure an efficient and positive experience.
Preparation for your scan:
Some scans, such as an ultrasounds of the abdomen, require a 6 hour fast. Other scans, such as a renal ultrasound, require a full bladder. When booking with us, we will assess your referral and advise you on any required preparation.
Parking:
Free parking is available at our door.
What you need to bring:
- Ultrasound referral/request form from your Doctor.
- Medicare card.
- Any applicable concession cards (Pensioner Concession Card, DVA Card, Healthcare Card etc.).
Billing at Imaging Plus:
While we try to bulk bill our patients where we can, many ultrasounds scans are not fully covered by Medicare, and attract a gap fee. These fees are required to be paid on the day of your scan. When this is the case, you will be informed by our friendly staff prior to your scan. We accept payment by EFTPOS, credit card and direct credit into our bank account (details provided if required).
